System: Kommerling C70 PVC-U windows and Rehau fire exit doors
With product supply shortages putting pressure on installation schedules, we were able to successfully condense the installation timetable at Knights Templar Grove so that work on the window and door replacement project was still completed before the end of the school holidays. This meant coordinating with several other trades, including a team laying new parquet flooring in the same rooms where windows were being replaced.
We have an established relationship with the Haberdashers’ Federation, which manages Knights Templar Grove, and the quality of work carried out and our professionalism on other projects helped us win this business.
We replaced existing PVC-U windows with higher specification Kommerling frames. The existing frames were more suited to a domestic setting and this, coupled with a poor quality installation previously, meant that they were particularly inefficient. The replacements will deliver much improved thermal efficiency and help the school save on energy costs.
