This development in Lena Kennedy Close, Chingford is a 6-storey development of 45 new residential apartments for a mixture of affordable sale, affordable rent and shared ownership. It was named Centenary House to mark the 100th anniversary of the first council housing being built in the UK.

We were awarded the contract to install Rehau PVC-U windows in all of the apartments, as well as aluminium doors for the bin stores and bike sheds and steel doors for the plant room. All of the frames are in a matching anthracite grey finish to give a contemporary overall look, with white interiors for the flats.

While this installation was originally scheduled to be completed in 8 weeks, it fell victim to the Covid lockdown and was only completed nearly a year after it began. However, we were able to respond to all the changes and stop/starts on the programme and ensured that it was completed in time for the handover.
