We’re continuing to strengthen our position in the SHDF sector, with several ongoing contracts around London and the Southeast for housing associations including Riverside and One Housing, installing new windows and doors in homes which are being upgraded and improved to reach EPC band C. We’re winning new business based on the fact that we hold the coveted PAS2030 eco-installation certification required to work on any of the government’s retrofit energy efficiency schemes, and because we have demonstrated a real willingness to share our knowledge of the processes involved with the main contractors and all the design teams.

What is impressing main contractors like Wates though isn’t just our knowledge and experience but also the quality of our installations. On the Auden Place SDHF project in Primrose Hill, we had this from Senior Site Manager Dave Royce: “The Window Company (Contracts)’ installers are probably the best I have had on site over the past 30 years of being in the construction/refurbishment business. The residents are all collectively very happy and it’s the best feedback I have personally experienced, so congratulations on having such a wonderful team of guys whose installations exceed our expectations.”
