We were awarded phase two of the CIF (Condition Improvement Fund) funded window and door replacement project at Hatcham College, having impressed the school’s governors and business manager with our performance on phase one.
As previously, we fitted bespoke timber vertical sliding sash windows on the front elevation to meet the conservation area requirements and sympathetically styled Veka Matrix arched head vertical sliders and tilt and turn windows with Astragal bars on the rear – all while the school was closed for the holidays.
In line with our usual focus on selecting the right product for the right application, we installed Rehau Rauferno fire rated windows on the rear elevations of the school where the emergency staircases are located. The fire rated windows were installed in all areas below the emergency staircases to protect pupils and staff.
