Client: Haberdasher’s Askes’ Federation Client: Haberdasher’s Askes’ Federation Number of windows & doors installed: 40+ System: Veka Matrix, Comar Aluminium, bespoke joinery We worked with a bespoke joinery company to supply and fit oversized 4600 x 2000mm double glazed timber sash windows in sapele hardwood for the hall, finished in white on the exterior and varnished in the natural wood on the interior to match the existing panelling. We installed Guardian SunGuard SuperNeutral glass to minimise the solar gain, and even expertly restored the original openers to achieve a truly sympathetic refurbishment. In the other parts of the building overlooking the same courtyard as the hall, we installed a mix of arched head Veka vertical sliders and tilt and slide windows with Astragal bars which matched the external appearance of the timber they were replacing. We also created a new opening in the dining hall and fitted a new set of Comar Commercial aluminium double doors.
