As part of our window and door replacement contract with Ashford Borough Council, we installed new Rehau windows and doors in the Luckley House independent living scheme for older residents – all fabricated by Polyframe, one of our trusted suppliers.

The existing PVC-U products in Luckley House had reached the end of their service life, and a stock condition survey had recommended replacement with modern, thermally efficient upgrades.

The residents are pleased with the new windows and doors and have welcomed the improved efficiency, the upgraded PAS24 security and the better ventilation options. Rueben Brown, building surveyor at Ashford Council, says that the improved efficiency of the Rehau products even acted as the deciding factor in persuading some of the residents to accept heating upgrades in the form of air source and ground source heat pumps.
