We’ve just completed the latest round of updates at Thriftwood, the special needs school located just a few hundred yards from our Chelmsford head office.

This time, we have installed new aluminium entrance doors on several of the classrooms and new aluminium vertically sliding windows, complete with specialist hardware to guarantee pupil safety.

As usual, we carried out the work during weekends and school holidays to minimise disruption for the 110 pupils, and used all our experience in the education sector to make sure that everything we supplied met all their requirements when it comes to energy efficiency, practicality, safety and security.

Budget constraints mean the school can’t afford to update all of its facilities in one go but we are happy to accommodate that by providing a service which is as flexible and cost effective as they need it to be.
